Ingredients:
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup turkey broth or 1 chicken bouillon cube dissolved
in 1 cup boiling water
2 cups diced, cooked or leftover turkey
1 10-ounce package frozen mixed vegetables, cooked and
drained or 1 16-ounce can mixed vegetables, drained
3 ounces sharp process American cheese, shredded (3/4
cup)
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
Directions:
Melt margarine; blend in flour. Add broth; cook and
stir till thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat; stir
in turkey, vegetables, and 1/2 cup of the cheese. Turn
into a 1-quart casserole. combine crumbs, and remaining
cheese; sprinkle over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees
till heated throug 30 to 35 minutes. Makes 4 or 5
servings.
