Spiced Ice Tea

Serves: 32

Dietary Recommendation: Vegetarian, Vegan, Diabetic, Reduced-fat, Low-fiber, Dairy-free, Low-sodium, Egg-free, Low-calorie, Low-cholesterol
  
Ingredients:
 
  • 2   gallon   Water  
  • 2   teaspoon   Cloves, whole  
  • 6   stick   Cinnamon stick -- 3 inch sticks  
  • 1   cup   Sugar, granulated  
  • 12   bag   Tea, (bags) -- family-sized 
  •  1/2   lb   Orange juice, frozen concentrate 
  • 12   oz   Lemonade, frozen concentrate   

Directions

 

Bring water, cloves, and cinnamon sticks to a boil in a very large pot. Remove from heat, add tea bags, cover and steep 5 minutes.  Using slotted spoon, remove and discard tea bags, cinnamon and cloves.  Stir in sugar until dissolved.
Stir in orange juice and lemonade concentrate.
Chill and serve over ice.
