Skillet Beef & Macaroni

 

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cuups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 cans (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 -1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

Directions:

Cook beef in large skillet until it loses it redness.  REmove beef from skillet.  Ad macaroni, onion and green pepper tomeat.  Return meat to skillet.  Add tomato sauce, water, salt pepper and Worcestershire.  Cover and simmer 25 minutes.

Combine flour, salt and pepper. Coat liver in seasoned flour mixture and brown in 2 tablespoons bacon drippings. Remove liver and place in a shallow 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with garlic.
