Marinated Flank Steak With Ginger Soy Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • Flank Steak
  • 2 pinches ginger
Sauce
  • 6 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • remaining marinade

Directions

Combine Worcestershire, soy sauce, wine, onions, and garlic.  Add bay leaf, brown sugar, pepper and giner.  Mix throughly.

Pierce flank steak with fork several times.  Place in plastic container.  Cover with marinade.  Marinate overnight in refrigerator.  Remove meat.  Reserve marinade.

Grill meat over charcoal or mesquite rill until desired doneness. Slice on bias .  For sauce, combine water and corn starch in small bowl.  Bring marinade to low boil.  Add cornstarch mixture, strring until thickened.   Serve over flank steak immediately.
