Barbecue Spare Ribs

Ingredients


4 Tablespoon Butter
2 medium chopped Onions
1 minced Clove Garlic
1 1/2 Cup Water
2 Cup Tomato Catsup
4 Tablespoon Vinegar
4 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
4 Tablespoon Worcester Shire Sauce
4 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
or Molasses
2 Teaspoon Dry Mustard
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Tabasco
Dash of Cayenne Pepper
4 pounds Spareribs
4 cups BBQ Sauce

Directions


Melt butter and add onion. cook until brown.  Add rest of ingredients to pot and cook 20 minutes.
(Makes 4 cups)

Place ribs in a shallow baking pan and roast at 450 degrees for
30 minutes. Pour off the fat and reduce to 350 degrees. Pour 2 cups
of BBQ sauce over the ribs and bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hours, until
ribs are tender, basting occasionally.

Separate ribs with sharp knife and serve with BBQ sauce.
