Directions Sprinkle yeast over warm water in large bowl. Add sugar, salt, 2 tablespoons Crisco and 1 1/2 cups flour. Blend at low speed. Beat at low speed of an eleactric mixer until dry ingredients aremoistened. Increase to medium speed. Beat 3 minutes. Stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough. Turn to bring greased surface to top. Cover. Let rise in warm place until doubled ( about one hour) Heat 2 to 3 inches Crisco Shortening or Crisco Oil to 365 degrees in deep fryer or deep saucepan. Cut dough into 1 inch pieces. Stretch pieces slightly. Fry 1 1/2 minutes or until golden brown. Turn once. Drain on paper towels. Shake in bag with cinnamon sugar. Serve warm.
