Remembering a Legend - A
Tribute to Michael Jackson

August 29, 1958 - June 25, 2009
Michael Jackson, musical icon and legend died of cardiac
arrest at his home in Holmby Hills on June 25, 2009. it was reported
that he had no pulse when paramedics arrived and they were not able to
revive him. Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph
Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael
Jackson II.
A Message From Big Mama
News of Michael's death hit home with me as if I had lost
a member of my family. I grew up listening to Michael with the
Jackson Five and continued throughout his career. Looking back, I remember
watching him on the Ed Sullivan show and screaming my lungs out. He has
that effect on many. His music, life and compassion for everyone
around him has left a lasting impression in my life.
His style, dance and visionary insight into music
pioneered music videos as we know them now and influenced the lives of
many artist. He has left a lasting impression in my life and will be
missed.
Despite efforts to tarnish his image and diminish
his accomplishments, my faith in him never wavered. I will always remember
him as a legend and the King Of Pop.
We at Big Mama's Recipes send our condolences out to the
family, friend and fellow fans of Michael. He will be in our hearts and
minds forever. He will live on through his music and the memories of
all who loved him.
