Broiled Figs - Soul Food Breakfast Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • 12 fresh figs
  • 1 teaspoon butter, melted

Directions:

Preheat the broiler. Slice each fig lengthwise and brush lightly with butter. Place figs, cut side up, in a broiler pan, and broil for 1 minute, until figs are slightly browned.

Makes 4 servings.
