Overnight Cole Slaw

Ingredients:

2-1/2 cups shredded green cabbage (about one medium heat)
2-1/2 cups shredded red cabbage (about one medium)
1 medium size green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon of celery seeds
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper


Direction:

Combine cabbage and green pepper in a large mixing bowl.
Combine remaining ingredients in a jar; screw lid tightly and shake well. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture, stirring well. Chill overnight. This recipe makes eight to ten servings.

Cook's Tip: You can substitute 3/4 cup chopped celery for the celery seeds and the celery salt.
