Herb Butter (for Vegetables)

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter; at room temperature
  • 1 teasoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives, chervil, tarragoon or dill, or a mixture
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

 

Directions:

Cream the butter with the lemon juice.  Add the herbs and blend well.  Season to taste with salt and pepper.  Serve on cooked asparagus, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, beans or other vegetables.
