Ingredients:
1 cup of warm water
1 package dry yeast 1 tsp salt¼ cup sugar 3 ½ cup flour1 egg 2 tbsp. shortening (soft) Directions:
In a bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar and
salt. Add half of flour. Beat 2 minutes. Add egg and
shortening and beat the rest of the flour in gradually until smooth.
Cover with a damp cloth and put in the refrigerator. Pinch down as
dough rises. Remove from refrigerator. Shape while cold and
place on greased baking sheet. Brush top with butter and let rise
for 2 hours. Bake in a 400 degree oven. Yields 15
