Ingredients:
1 ½ cup sifted all-purpose flour1 beaten egg
3 tsp. baking powder1 cup milk 3 tbsp. baking powder2 tbsp. melted shortening or oil ½ tsp. salt Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Combine egg, milk
and oil. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just till flour is well
moistened. (Batter will be a little lumpy) Pour mixture in hot
skillet or griddle. Yields 8 large pancakes
