Oatmeal Applesauce Muffins

 

 

Prep Time: 30 minutes

1     (7-oz.) pkg. Martha White® Apple Cinnamon Muffin Mix 
1/2     cup quick-cooking rolled oats 
1/3     cup milk 
1/4     cup applesauce 
1     egg, beaten 
1/3     cup raisins, sweetened dried cranberries or chopped dried fruit 
     

1 .    Heat oven to 450 degrees F. (425 degrees F. for dark pan.) Line 6 medium muffin cups with paper baking cups or grease bottoms only of cups.
2 .    In medium bowl, combine muffin mix and oats; mix well. Add milk, applesauce and egg; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in raisins. Divide batter evenly into lined muffin cups.
3 .    Bake at 450 degrees F. for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 2 to 3 minutes; remove from pan. Serve warm.
