Cheddar Cheese Muffins

 

 

Prep Time: 30 minutes

2     cups Martha White® Self-Rising Flour 
1     cup (4 oz.) finely shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 
1     teaspoon dry mustard 
1/2     teaspoon chili powder 
1     cup milk 
1/4     cup oil 
1     egg 
     

1 .    Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Grease 12 muffin cups. In large bowl, combine flour, cheese, dry mustard and chili powder; mix well.
2 .    In medium bowl, combine milk, oil and egg; beat well. Add to flour mixture; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.(Batter will be slightly lumpy.) Spoon batter into greased muffin cups. 
3 .    Bake at 425 degrees F. for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
