  Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 package (10 oz) refrigerated buttermilk fluffy biscuits 10-count
  • 1 cup chopped dreid apples
  • 1/4 cup raisins, optional
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

Placebrown sugar, butter and water in 9 inch round baking dish.  Microwave at high 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, or until butter is melted.  Stir to blend.  Microwave athigh 1 minute, or until mixture boils.  Sprinkle with nuts.

Cut each biscuit into quarters.  Place in medium bowl with remaining ingredients.  Toss to coat biscuits with cinnamon.

Arrange biscuit-apple mixture evenly in baking dish.  Microwave at 70% (medium-high) 6 to 7 minutes, or until biscuits are light and springy to the touch and no longer doughy.  Invert onto serving plate.
