Easy Sweet & Sour Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork lion chops cut 3/4 inch thick
  • 3/4 cup sweet and sour sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped  yellow or green bell peppers
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onions
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted (optional)

 

 

Directions

Preheat broiler.  Trim fat from pork chops, if necessary.  Season with salt and pepper to taste.  Place on a broiler rack.  Broil 4 to 5 inches away from heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until no loner pink, turning once.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan stir together sweet and sour sauce, bell pepper and onions.  Bring to a boil.  Serve sauce over pork chops.  Sprinkle with almonds, if desired.

Serves 4
