Directions
Cut the avocado in half all around from top to bottom. Twist the
fruit gently and pull the two halves away from each other. Using
a teaspoon, scoop out the flesh from each half into a small bowl,
throw away the seed and skin. Mash the flesh with a fork to a lumpy
puree.
Rinse the tomato, then cut into quarters on a chopping board. Cut
away the small green core at the top of the tomato. Chop each quarter
into about 6 pieces. Add to the bowl. Cut the lime in half, then
squeese ou the juice with a lemon squeezer. Add 2 teaspoons of the
juice to the bowl, but keep the rest in case you need to add it
later.
Peel the garlic and crush it with a garlic press or chop it very
finely. Add to the bowl, then add the salt and pepper. Mix all the
ingredients together with a fork-the mixture should be a bit lumpy.
Taste and add more lime juice or salt and pepper as needed. Eat
immediately with home baked tortilla
chips.
