Directions:
Combine
sugar, corn syrup, and water in a heavy saucepan. Cook over
medium-low heat until sugar is dissolved. Raise heat to medium-high.
Cook until heat registers 300 degrees on a candy thermometer.
Stir in red food coloring. Poke a popsicle stick into each apple
in the syrup. Stand the apples on wax paper to
harden.
