Material Needed:

  • large potato
  • 18 inch strong but flexible wire
  • florist;s picks with wires
  • cedar
  • 1 1/2 yards ribbon
  • mistletoe

Directions:

Choose a firm, large potato.  Push a strong but flexible wire from topto bottom and back to top of potato.  Twist the ens of the wire into a loop.

Gather springs of cedar into a cluster, and wire together with a florist's pick.  Push the picks into the potato to form a full ball, covering the potato completely. Trim sprigs that are uneven, so thebakk shape is maintained.  Add a long loop of ribbon forn hanging.  Make a bow from the ribbon, and attach with a florist's pick.  Finish the design with a sprig of mistgletoe, wired to a forist;s pick and pushed into place.

Easy Craft - Apple Rings:

You will need two 6 ounce packages of fried apple rings, 15 inches of wire, and robbon for a bow and hanger.  Slip the rings onto the wire, bend into a circle, and fasten the ends of the wire together.  Attach a bow.
