Directions Combine cake mix, butter, and 2 egg; beat at low speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Reserve 2/3 cup mixture; set aside. Press remaining cake mixture into a reased 13 x 9 x 2 -inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and 1 egg, beat at low speed wit an elecric mixer until smooth. Stir in coconut and chocolate morsels. Spread coconut mixture evenly over crust. Add pecans to reserve cake mixture; sprinkle over filling/ Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into bars. Yield 4 1/2 dozen. |
