White Candy Box
This candy box filled wi th delicious candies made from Valentine Central's recipes will be the sweetest gift you could every make.
DirectionsL Microwave the candy squares in a microwave safe bowl at on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until it is melted, stirring every 30 seconds. Pour melted candy onto wax paper or heavy-duty cellpphane, spreading into a 12 inch square; let stand just until firm to the touch. Cut 12-inch square into 1 (5-inch), 1 (4 1/2 inch) square. 2 (4 1/2 x 1 inch) rectangles, and 2 ( 5 x 1-inch) rectang;es/ Let stand until they are firm. Remove from the wax paper and set aside. Place trimmings in a small heavy duty zip top plastic bag and seal. Submerge in hot waer until trimmings melt. Snip a tiney hole in one corner of the bag nd pipe melted candy onto the edges of the 4 1/2 inch square, ress 5 x 1-inch rectanle against opposite sides of the square. Pipe melted candy onto short edges of the 4 1/2 inch rectangles; press rectangles against remaining sides of square to form the bottom of the box. Let stand until the seams are firm. Use a seamstress tracing wheel to make diagonal lines, 1 inch apart, forming diamond shapes on top of the 5 inch square, attach fragree with melted ccoating where lines intersect. Fill the box with candies and top with lid. Decorate with a wired ribbon bow. (note: you can find golden dragrees in the cake decorating section of most supermarkets.)
