Candy Hearts Valentine Cards

What better way to show your valentine how very special they are with a beautiful handmade rubber stamp card.

Materials

White card and envelope
Mauve and Deep Plum card stock
Rubber Stamp-Puffy Heart
Black inkpad and Black embossing powder
Heat Embossing Tool
Pastel Marker Set
Pigma Micron Pen #05 0.45mm Black Ink
Aleene's Paper Glaze-2oz Bottle
Paper Shaper/Edger Scissors-Deckle
Glue stick
Pop Dots

Directions

To make candy hearts: On white card stock, stamp several hearts using Black inkpad. Sprinkle with Black embossing powder and set with Heat Tool. Color inside of each heart with a pastel marker, then write message with black pen. Squeeze Paper Glaze over each heart and set aside to dry, preferably overnight.

Cut a rectangle of Mauve cardstock, using Paper Shaper/Edger Scissors-Deckle . Glue to Dark Plum cardstock and trim close to edge with regular scissors. Glue to White greeting card.

Cut a candy dish out of white card stock; glue to Dark Plum cardstock and glue onto bottom half of card.

Write greeting on candy dish, using pastel markers. When candy hearts are dry, cut each one out, arrange on card, then attach using half of a Pop Dot.

Decorate an envelope with leftover candy hearts and pastel markers. Write message on inside of card.
