Smoky BBQ Chili

Most of the ingredients found in this recipe are common standard items in any kitchen.  Keep these ingredients on hand and you have any instant meal.

 

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups seasoned ground beef and sausage
  2. 1 cup hickory smoked flavor barbecue sauce
  3. 1 can refired beans
  4. 1 can spicy chii beans, undrained
  5. q can diced undrained tomatoes
  6. 1/2 cup water
  7. 3 green onions, chopped

Directions:

In a 4 quart Dutch Oven, mix all ingredients except onions; cover.  Cook over medium low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly heated.  Sprinkle individual servings with onions.

 

Per serving:  calories  420; total fat 19g; sodium 1120mg, dietary fiber 6g
