Parmesan Salisbury Steak Skillet

 

Prep Time: 35 minutes    Start of Finish 35 minutes      Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb. extra lean (at least 905 ground beef
  2. 1/4 cup Italian style bread crumbs
  3. 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  4. 1/4 cup chopped onion
  5. 1/4 cup milk
  6. 1.4 teaspoon pepper
  7. 2 teaspoons oil
  8. 1 bag (19 oz) green giant chef inspired frozen vegetables with Parmesan -Asiago sauce

Directions:

In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients except the oil and vegetables. Shape into 4 oval patties, 1/2 inch thick.  In a 12 inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat.  cook patties in oil 3 to 4 minutes or until browned; turning once.  Cover; reduce heat to low. Cook 10 minutes; drain.

Pour vegetables and sauce chips over patties.  Cover; cook 10 minutes or until thermometer inserted in the center of atties reads 160 degrees F and bege tables are crisp-tender, moving patties around and gently stirring vegetables once.

High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): In step 1 cooking [attoes 3 to 4 minutes, reduce heat to medium-low then cook 10 minutes.  In step 2.  add 1/4 cup water with vegetables and sauce chips.  Cover and cook over medium heat.

Per serving:  calories  340; total fat 17g; sodium 870mg, dietary fiber 6g
