Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 8-ounce carton dairy sour cream
1 egg
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
Chocolate butter Frosting
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl beat buter with an electric mixer on medium to
high speed for 30 seconds. Add brown sugar, baking soda, and
salt. Beat till combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionall.
Beat in the sour cream, egg, melted chocolate, and vanilla till combined.
Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir
in the remaining flour.
Drop dough by a slightly trounded teaspoon about 3 inches apart onto
an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees oven for 8 to 10
minutes or till edges are firm.
Pt cookies on rack to cool. spread the cooked cookies with
Chocolate Butter Frosting. makes about 42 cookies
