Ingredients:
1 medium
cabbage, chopped
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons
of flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of milk
1 cup of
grated American cheese
1 cup of buttered bread crumbs
Directions:
Boil the cabbage in salted water
until tender, drain. melt the butter, blend in flour and salt.
Gradually add milk, cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Fold in cheese, stir until melted. Pour cream sauce over
cabbage in casserole, top with crumbs. Bake at
375 ºF. for 40 minutes. Makes 4 - 6 servings
