Cheese Grits Casserole
 
   
Ingredients:
 
4 cups milk
1 cup uncooked regular grits
1 tsp.  Salt
2 cups grated mild cheddar cheese
½ cup butter or margarine
¼ tsp.  hot pepper sauce
 
Directions:
 
Heat oven to 400 degrees.  Place milk in 2 quart saucepot; heat to almost boiling.  Gradually stir in grits and continue to stir until mixture begins to boil.  Add salt and cook until mixture begins to thicken.  Remove from heat.  Stir in mixture into a well-greased 1 ½ quart casserole dish.  Bake 60 minutes.
