Outback Bloomin Onion

 


Ingredients:

  • 1 Sweet onion
  • 1 Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk
  • 2 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1 Cup Cracker crumbs; crushed

Directions:
 
Select a well-rounded onion. Peel outer skin but leave root intact, cutting Remove onion from hot water and immerse in ice water.

Put flour into paper bag (season with any seasonings you'd like--Cajun, cay Heat oil to 375-380 degrees. If oil isn't hot enough, it will be greasy and Cooked onion can be kept for a time in a warm oven.

Bloomin Sauce & Dip
 
Ingredients:
 
8 Ounce Sour cream
8 Ounce Picante sauce (pace medium or hot)
8 Ounce Cream cheese (room temperature so it is soft)
Garlic (to taste)
Lawry's seasoned salt (to taste)

Directions:

Mix and put in refrigerator to thicken for a day. Servings: 1
