   6                    eggs -- separated
   1 1/2 cups          sugar
   1      cup           nuts -- chopped
   4      ounces        bittersweet chocolate -- grated
   2                    apples -- peeled & grated
     1/2 cup           matzo meal

Beat yolds and sugar till light. Add nuts, chocolate, apples and matza meal.
Beat whites till stiff and fold in. Pour into 9" spring form pan. Bake about 40 min. at 350F.
